An Invitation
I have often wondered whether climbing over that five foot wall was a profitable choice. Climbing over that wall, I began to be subject to pains and sufferings as a result of caring. My definition of good and bad was altered after experiencing both living in the prison and out of it. My perception was changed and will never be the same. In the prison, you are blindfolded. You cannot see the world around you, and are subjected to believe what the prison warden tells you the world looks like. You believe what you're told becuase you don't know any other. Brothers! Friends! Inmates! I invite you to listen to my words. I come to entreat you, not deny you, to accept the invitation we have given you to remove your blindfold and see for yourself the beauty of the world we live in. Climbing over that wall allowed me to have a clear mind. Put the bottle down. Wake up! Be your own prison warden and decide things for yourself. Please. Care enough to take the first step to freedom.
